D-Mannose und Cranberry
The herbal active ingredients D-mannose and the proanthocyanidins of the cranberry can block the adhesion of the bacteria to the bladder mucosa in different ways. Thus, both ingredients complement each other ideally, as they can prevent certain bacteria from rising in the urinary tract.
The vitamins C and D3 support the normal function of the immune system and thus contribute to the success of the therapy.
D-Mannose – the effective herbal ingredient in urinary tract infections
D-Mannose is a natural, bioactive monosaccharide of purely plant origin
- Blocks bacteria throughout the urinary tract by preventing bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall (so-called “anti-adhesion effect”)

Health-promoting components of the cranberry
The cranberry fruit contains many health-promoting components, such as the phytochemicals proanthocyanidins, which can help to keep the urinary tract healthy. BIOGELAT® Cranberry UroForte contains 36 mg proanthocyandins (PAC) as a daily recommendation. Numerous studies prove the anti-adhesive effect of the cranberry. The cranberry should not be confused with the related lingonberry.
Take 15 ml daily (ideally in the evening before bed). To prevent recurring urinary tract infections, it is recommended to take it over a longer period of time.
