A balanced acid-base balance plays a major role for our body and our well-being. Unhealthy eating habits with too many acid-forming foods such as meat, salt or sugar can affect the natural acid-base balance. The targeted supply of basic minerals can therefore be useful.
META-CARE® Basic 3 contains the base-forming minerals potassium, magnesium and calcium, combined with the water-soluble extract of wild marjoram. Potassium and magnesium contribute significantly to the sequence of muscle contraction and relaxation and are therefore particularly important for the heart muscle. In addition, potassium makes a valuable contribution to maintaining normal blood pressure and magnesium contributes to a balanced electrolyte balance. In addition to other important functions, calcium has an influence on the digestive enzymes and supports a normal energy-yielding metabolism.
