PROTIFAR oral solution powder 225g
Protifar is a dietary food for special medical purposes. Nutritionally incomplete diet in powder form. Milk protein in a concentration of 90%, suitable as a nutritional supplement.
Intended for dietary procedures in the nutrition of patients with high protein requirements (e.g. severe injuries and infections) and for patients who, for various reasons, do not receive sufficient protein from the normal diet. It is especially suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women, growing children, adolescents, convalescents, athletes and seniors.

Dosage and method of use
The enclosed measuring cup contains 2.5 g of Protifar, which is 2.2 g of protein. The amount of protein in 3 scoops corresponds to 200 ml of milk, 1 egg or 30 g of meat or fish.
Due to the neutral taste, it is recommended to mix Protifar into ordinary ready-made dishes, yogurts, porridge or take as a 30% solution (30 g in 100 ml).
The product can also be used for nutrition through a nasogastric tube.
Store in a dry and cool place. After each opening, close the can tightly with the lid again. After opening, store for max. 6 weeks.
Store unused solution in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
Composition
Concentrated milk protein, emulsifier (soy lecithin). Lactose content <1.5 g/100 g powder.
The composition of the preparation in 100 g of powder: Energy 1580 kJ/373 kcal, Proteins 88.5 g, Carbohydrates <1.5 g – lactose <1.5 g, Water <6 g, Fat 1.6 g.
Minerals: Sodium 30 mg, Potassium 50 mg, Calcium 1350 mg, Phosphorus 700 mg, Magnesium 20 mg, Chloride 100 mg.

Notification
Use on the advice of a doctor or a person qualified in human nutrition, pharmacy or maternal and child care. Protifar is suitable as a substitute for part of the diet in the case when the coverage of the patient’s nutritional needs cannot be achieved by a normal diet. Not suitable as the only source of nutrition. Not suitable for patients on a protein-restricted diet.
Not intended for children under 3 years of age.
